Satan seeks to distract us in the most important of times

“The solemn messages that have been given in their order in the Revelation are to occupy the first place in the minds of God's people. Nothing else is to be allowed to engross our attention. {8T 302.1}

Precious time is rapidly passing, and there is danger that many will be robbed of the time which should be given to the proclamation of the messages that God has sent to a fallen world. Satan is pleased to see the diversion of minds that should be engaged in a study of the truths which have to do with eternal realities.” {8T 302.2}

The work of righteousness should be reaching its peak at this time

All sin mus be blotted out.With temptation and distress satan assigns his agents to work on us individually.

What say the testimonies concerning these things? Even one wrong trait of character, one sinful desire cherished, will eventually neutralize all the power of the gospel. The prevalence of a sinful desire shows the delusion of the soul. Every indulgence of that desire strengthens the soul's aversion to God. The pains of duty and the pleasures of sin are the cords with which Satan binds men in his snares. Those who would rather die than perform a wrong act are the only ones who will be found faithful.

Gods people need to be digging in to his word hard and deep at this time.
Our salvation rest not in ministers or elders, BUt in a firm connection with Christ alone.

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." When the church is properly instructed, there will not be so great dependence and weakness. Believers in the truth will not come and go as the door upon its hinges. They will not sit complacently and listen to sermon after sermon, and fail to bring the instruction into practical life. Many a minister does present the truth with force and clearness, but the members of the church fail to reap benefit therefrom, because the word is not mixed with faith in them that hear it. The mind is occupied with worldly interests, and as soon as they leave the church door, the impression is lost; for as water flows from a leaky vessel, so the truth leaks from the heart. The more preaching they have, the less they do to carry out the truth in practical godliness. They are glutted with sermons, and the truth fails to arouse them to a sense of their condition.

In distress God be bringing to your attentions things that need overcoming.
When you prayer be mindful of all these things.
God knows our infirmities,our soul salvation is also important to Him.

We need to agonize with our God in this here times for the over coming power . We as a people must develop a hatred for sin.

There is one prayer that God will not deny,that is for you to have a hatred for sin--- IN your life !.let this be your prayer also.

Lord We know that Jacob wrestle all night for answers to his prayer.
We know that his petition was granted.
For you are the same yesterday ,today and forever amen.

I begin this prayer blog with a couple pieces from the Holy writ. My conversation with many have shown that Gods people are under attack. Potentials for the kingdom are under the assault of the enemy at this time.

Malachi 3:16-18
16 Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it , and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

The Bible teaches a thing is establish based on the agreement of two.

Exodus 25:22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

Exodus 31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

Exodus 32:15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

Exodus 34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses knew not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.

Numbers 7:89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spoke unto him.

John 8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

1Kings 21:10 And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.

Therefore i sincerely believe if two or more persons are praying on behalf of a genuine request. If The Lord sees fit He will answer.

Romans 8:26 Tells us Christ is interceding on our behalf in a way that we may never be able to do directly.

Mathew chapter 27 the cross and crucifixion also empowers our prayers one prayer worrier says. I believe this fully. It is the shed blood that gives Christ the right to stand as an intercessor.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Therefor we cannot expect answers prayers if we are practicing sins.

Even praying brings us into awareness of unconfronted sins that must be put away. Note what the text says above a RIGHTEOUS MAN .
